Our aim is to build a framework that fosters strong universal outcomes, as well as system-level changes.
We will work with community development stakeholders, including funders, public officials, community based organizations and residents, to determine common metrics for reporting on their work and measuring progress. We are developing common baseline indicators and metrics so that the language, processes and expected impact and outcomes are standardized and understood. Our aim is to build a framework that fosters strong universal outcomes, as well as system-level changes. Neighborhood Allies views these areas as critical to creating more scalable community revitalization. Additionally, to measure our own effectiveness, we will:
- Establish benchmarks for continuous improvement of our performance
- Communicate the value of our collective work to encourage new partners to join us
- Provide ongoing information about our results as our commitment to remain accountable to our stakeholders
We will continue to improve how we capture and manage information; monitor, measure and evaluate our work; and regularly report out on the organization’s effectiveness.
When neighborhoods pull together to change a community’s fortune, good things happen. New businesses arrive. Families prosper. Streetlights shine.
