Neighborhood Allies Is Pleased to Share Our Streamlined Grant-Making Process!Leave a Comment
We have consolidated our Catalytic and Small & Simple grant programs into one program to help streamline our grant-making process.
In early 2017, we replaced the Small & Simple and Catalytic Grants Programs with one grant-making program for nonprofits, community-based organizations, and collaboratives. There’s now one simple online Idea Paper that serves as an intake for grant requests. You can also use the Idea Paper to start a conversation about loans and other financing through our partnership with Local Initiatives Support Corporation.
SIX FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE CATALYTIC GRANTS PROGRAM:
The new Catalytic Grants Program provides awards ranging from $1,000 – $75,000 to support ideas that make Pittsburgh area neighborhoods healthier, safer and stronger
The program is open to nonprofit organizations and partnerships serving low-to-moderate income communities in Allegheny County
Placed-based, neighborhood investments between $1,000 – $75,000 will continue to be focused in our six focus neighborhoods.
The goal of the Catalytic Program is to support and help you achieve one or more of the following results: 1) Market Confidence, 2) Quality of Life, 3) Celebrated Neighborhood Image, 4) Community Ownership, 5) Equitable Development
Instead of focusing efforts on specific grant rounds, we’re accepting Idea Papers and inviting proposals on an ongoing basis. This creates less pressure to meet specific deadlines and allows for more fluid development of ideas and proposals
