We would like to thank First National Bank for their support to many of our Economic Opportunity Initiatives, as well as the Real Estate Co-Powerment Series, over the years. Since 2017, First National Bank has invested $95,000 into these programs!

Through our multi-faceted Economic Opportunity Initiatives, Neighborhood Allies positions low-income and vulnerable individuals and families in Pittsburgh to increase their opportunities, skills and assets. We develop strategic partnerships, raise philanthropic and government funding, launch successful national programs, create new initiatives and analyze data to track outcomes. Our goal? To help all Pittsburghers set out on the path to financial wellness and achieve good financial health.

First National Bank has supported several of these programs, including the Financial Opportunity Centers, sites that provide employment services, financial education and coaching, and access to income supports; the Financial Empowerment Center, an initiative that provides free, one-on-one financial counseling by professionally trained counselors; and the Asset Building Network, a collaborative community for learning and advocacy around economic opportunity.

In addition, FNB has also supported the Real Estate Co-Powerment Series, an education platform presented in collaboration with Omicelo Cares that demystifies the real estate development process, explains its associated terminology and brings to light the productive role community members and organizations play in the real estate and economic development inside their neighborhoods.

“As a community-driven bank, FNB strives to improve the lives of everyone in the communities we serve. We are proud to partner with and support the work of organizations, such as Neighborhood Allies, that share our commitment to create and maintain vibrant, healthy communities.”

-Brent Semachko, Head of Community Development, FNB Corporation

Our work would not be possible without the support of funders like First National Bank. Thank you for your continued commitment and support of our mission to support the people, organizations and partnerships committed to creating and maintaining healthy neighborhoods!
