The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, in partnership with the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh and Neighborhood Allies, are co-sponsoring a banker roundtable, hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland on October 30, 2017 in Pittsburgh, PA. This interactive 3-hour session will provide resources and explore opportunities for financial institutions focused on financial inclusion for the unbanked and underbanked.

Participants and co-sponsors will engage with and learn from each other about the 2017-18 Bank On National Account Standards and relevant empowerment strategies to build pathways to economic mobility for financially struggling local families.  The workshop is specifically designed to help bankers and partners understand the new Standards and hear about best practices from other banks.

David Rothstein from the Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) will be our guest speaker on the Bank On National Account Standards.  There will also be information on the city of Pittsburgh’s Bridge ID program and other initiatives.
